Design Scored, Reverse-acting, Low Burst Pressure

Tolerances ± 5% except 40 PSIG/2.7 BARG and below which is ± 2 PSIG / 0.14 BARG

This convenient one-piece, single membrane rupture disc is reverse-bulged and perimeter-scored to facilitate opening without knife blades.

  • Operates in both gas and liquid applications
  • Effective in the isolation of Safety Relief valves
  • Withstands full vacuum, without the aid of a vacuum support
  • Will sustain cyclic and pulsating pressures as high as 90% of the stamped disc rating
  • If damaged during normal installation, the SRL rupture disc will open at less than 1.5 times the stamped burst pressure
  • Special seating configuration allows SRL discs to perform reliably, even under less-than-ideal bolt loading conditions
  • Effective in VALVEGUARD protection of expensive Pressure Relief Valves and Safety Relief Valves
